Ukrainians take refuge in a subway station in Kharkiv. The Shevchuk family has been living on a subway station platform for six weeks; their house no longer exists. Oksana, a mother of a three-year-old boy, believes that nowhere in Ukraine is safe but also says that they don’t want to live as refugees in a sports hall in some unknown part of Europe. “It’s our city, it’s our home.”
